Arts in the healing environment

In 2013 the Committee for Perth hosted the event “Build It and They Will Come – a look at Perth’s Performing Arts Infrastructure”. The Chamber of Arts and Culture WA would like to extend and broaden this dialogue and consider the opportunities our WA hospitals provide as vibrant arts and cultural spaces in our communities.

There is clear evidence that the arts have a critical role to play in providing patient and family centred holistic health care. The purpose of this conference is to explore how we can better integrate the arts into the delivery of health services in WA hospitals.
